The festive opening of the «Hokkaido Center» complex
The complex was opened by Governor of Hokkaido Harumi Takahashi and Governor of Sakhalin Region Oleg Kozhemyako.
The charter flight that arrived from Sapporo brought a delegation whose members were the Chairman of the Assembly of Hokkaido Takahashi, deputies of the Assembly, mayors of districts of Hokkaido prefecture, presidents of Hokkaido Bank and companies-shareholders of HODEG, representatives of construction community, designers and architects. Among the guests of the celebration were also the Consul General of Japan in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Akira Imamura, heads of government organizations and private companies such as Mitsui, Mitsubishi and others.
Sakhalin side was represented by Deputies of the Chairman of regional government Alexander Dernovoj, Sergey Khotochkin, Natalia Startseva, Ministers of local government, Chairman of Regional Assembly Valdimir Efremov, members of the Assembly and the City Council, acting Mayor of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Natalia Kuprina, representatives of Foreign Ministry of Russia and the best contractors.
