In place of the remainder of the period of Japanese wooden building, which housed a branch of Law Institute, built a new house in which they live and work managers and engineers of Russian and foreign companies, contractors for offshore projects.
On Sakhalin, the first house, designed and built based on the Japanese concept of business apartment hotel, proposed by Japanese participants “HODEG”.
The building is simple in its functionality, the ground floor is used for offices, each floor provides a joint-use meeting rooms. Every apartment consists of one bedroom and one living-kitchen room with a home office corner with computer desk. Canadian architects and designers have provided increased openings for windows, thus expanding the space of rooms, fills them with light.
Increased seismic resistance – a feature of the structural design: the building is made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete.
The building is equipped with engineering systems and communications networks that meet the modern requirements for comfort and safety. HODEG guarantee emergency supply of electric power from the stan-by diesel generator; the water pressure increases when it is lowered below normal in the city, provides heat by electric boilers backup if there are problems in the city.
Satellite TV, high speed internet, fire and burglar alarm systems, intercom, video surveillance, intake and exhaust air ventilation, automation of major mechanical systems, combined with parking for 40 cars and green courtyard — the ideal environment for living and working. The windows at the east side are overlooking the “Gorny Vozduh” Ski Resort, in the courtyard near the building on weekends tenants often enjoy «barbeque parties».
Security for tenants is provided by professional guards 24 hours a day, alarm systems and video surveillance inside and outside of the building.
The house is conveniently located next to the green zone in the east of the city and close to the city center in the north-west, at the intersection of two main streets – Victory and Komsomolskaya.
